Master Potter Exhibition Draws Prominent Guests
Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams successfully concluded Shadows of a Pre-Renaissance Era, an exhibition by renowned Master Potter Ajith Mohan Perera, celebrating the cultural, artistic, and philosophical significance of pottery in contemporary society.
Held on 2nd and 3rd February 2026 at the Cumulus Ballroom, the exhibition attracted art enthusiasts, cultural figures, diplomats, business leaders, and distinguished guests who gathered to experience a collection that explored ethical labour, restraint, heritage, and the human connection to craft.
Among the notable attendees were Harini Amarasuriya, Vijitha Herath, Wasantha Samarasinghe, prominent businessman Dudley Sirisena, alongside many distinguished invitees from the fields of politics, business, hospitality, and the arts.
The exhibition reflected Ajith Mohan Perera’s decades-long dedication to pottery as more than a decorative craft. Through carefully curated pieces, the exhibition encouraged audiences to reflect on balance, humility, collective responsibility, and the deeper relationship between material, process, and society.
